Annie is an expert communications strategist for environmental and social change. Annie is based in Kathmandu where she works as Head of Communications for the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development. In the course of a 20-year career spanning journalism, campaigns, and philanthropy, she’s written for some of the UK’s most prestigious newspapers and worked with world-class communicators and leaders from business, charity, politics, and technology. She is skilled at making big and complex issues cogent, urgent, vivid and human. Past clients and commissions include Al Jazeera English, City Bridge Trust, the Financial Times, Disasters Emergency Committee, the UK Government, The Sunday Times, and Wieden+Kennedy.
